THE PROJECT
Located just a short distance away from the spectacular Stock Ghyll Force, Force café and terrace is a destination for visitors to Ambleside. This charming café has opened its doors to welcome walkers, their families and their dogs. Whether you are strolling up to visit the waterfalls, or on a longer hike over Wansfell, up to Kirkstone or beyond, a welcome awaits
THE CHALLENGE
Force Café were looking for a cover to an outside dining area for walkers at their newly launched Café. Given the predictably, unpredictable Lake District weather a solution that works year round was required.

THE SOLUTION
The Weinor Pergotex II Awning is a retractable folding roof awning solution with front support posts.
Ideal for large terrace / patio / decking areas with 2 front posts installed onto concrete footings.
With the awning pitched at a minimum of 8 degrees rain will drain off the pvc fabric panels.
A wide choice of Waterproof and 50+ UPF sun protection fabrics available in the current Markilux collection.
Enhanced fabric performance due to the unique folding panel system.
Aluminium roof cover to protect the fabric when retracted.
Electrically operated via remote control – Installed with a Solar Wind sensor
