The Awning Purchase Timeline

Buying a bespoke awning is simpler than you might imagine. Once you’ve taken the time to make your decisions regarding the product, you can sit back and relax knowing your order is in good hands. Our friendly office team will keep you updated every step of the way, from providing a final quotation through to installation and aftercare. Here is a timeline of what to expect for most situations:

1. Initial Enquiry

Where possible Roché provide estimate pricing on the website. Our customer service team is also able to provide immediate estimate quotes via phone and email.

2. Site Survey

One of our surveyors will visit the site. This enables us to provide a detailed quotation, taking into account a number of factors including wall structures, power supply etc.

3. Quote Provided

Information from the surveyor is passed to the office team who aim to then deliver a quote within 24 hours. Details such as frame and fabric choices can also be finalised later. To proceed with the order a 50% deposit is taken.

4. Manufacture

Once you’ve finalised any decisions your order is passed to our German partners Markilux and Weinor so they can build your custom awning to your exact specifications. On average it takes 3 to 4 weeks for manufacture.

5. Install Preparation

Our installation team will check your awning and any associated products such as custom brackets, heaters and lights on delivery. Once signed off they will co-ordinate a suitable date for installation.

6. Fitting

On the agreed date our experienced installation engineers will arrive on site to install your new awning. They will also program all the controls and provide operation instructions.

7. Aftercare

When the job is signed off we will send an invoice for the remaining 50%. If you experience any issues within the next 5 years you can speak to our service team, and if we cannot solve the issue over the phone we will send an engineer free of charge.
