Awning Highlights of 2017
Roché’s experienced survey and installation teams have undertaken a wide array of projects this year, showing just how versatile a Markilux or Weinor awning can be. Here are some of our favourites:
Weinor Pergotex
This freestanding awning was installed at home in Lincolnshire earlier this year. With two front posts for support, this particular Weinor awning strikes the perfect balance between sun and rain protection, making it the perfect solution if you’re trying to battle the British weather.
Markilux 5010
A Markilux 5010 full cassette patio awning installed on a home in the West Midlands. The customer decided to opt for this particular patio awning due to its contemporary style and its ability to achieve a 6m width, helping to provide maximum shade cover in the summer months.
Markilux Pergola 210
The stylish Markilux Pergola 210 is perfect for outdoor living and certainly brightened up this patio area in Kent. The customer chose to have side blinds installed as well for added protection. A truly modern solution and ideal for those interested in a high level of shading.
Weinor Cassita II
This customer in Hertfordshire went for a white cassette with a lighter tone of fabric. With a smaller cassette and elegant design, the Cassita was definitely a good choice for this patio area.
Markilux 6000
A full cassette patio awning installed at a picturesque setting in Andover, Hampshire. The awning itself benefited from built-in LED lights and two infrared heaters, taking advantage of some of the many features available with a Markilux awning.
Markilux Syncra Uno Flex & Markilux 6000
One of our personal highlights of the year. A stunning installation at Aintree University Hospital in Liverpool. Both systems were fitted on the roof above the Hospital’s A & E department, adding to the existing architecture of the building.
Markilux Pergola 110
A 5.5 metre wide veranda awning installed at a domestic property in Surrey. Used to cover custom decking and integrated with the homes existing gutter system. A great addition to an already impressive patio area.
Markilux 990
One of our most popular sun awnings, the Markilux 990, was installed on a first floor balcony in Cumbria. This gave the customer much needed shade protection over their dining room.
Weinor Opal Design II
By taking advantage of the Opal Design II’s optional LED lighting bar and Weinor patio heaters, this domestic patio can be used all year round. It’s the perfect example of how accessories can enhance a space.
Markilux Syncra Uno Fix & Markilux 990
One of our more unique installations. The customer asked for a patio awning which could be fitted on his mobile home in Slough. With flexible fitting due to the Syncra frame, we were able to find a solution to meet their needs.
